Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions that improve battery life and charging experience.
  • Develop on-device models and accounting for their impact on battery life.
  • Build systems and UI to help inform and educate users about battery usage and optimization.
  • Work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Contribute to the development of software architecture and design patterns that support battery user experience.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming in a systems language (e.g. C++, Objective-C, Swift).
  • Experience with software architecture and development of UI applications.
  • Demonstrated innovative, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Passion for user experience and a proven intuition for designing intuitive interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
