Job Overview

Sulzer USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Director for Warranty and Asset Management to join our team in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and asset management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving business results.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage All Projects for SPUSA, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Drive Synergies between SPUSA and other Sulzer entities to maximize the benefits of a Global Virtual Factory environment.
  • Oversee PM Processes to ensure efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead the PM/Warranty Department, including hiring, disciplining, and performance reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 8 years' technical pump and pumping system knowledge preferred.
  • Strong Negotiating skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills in use of WINDOWS/WORD/EXCEL/POWERPOINT/OUTLOOK.
  • Strong time management and project management skill.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill.
  • Good presentation skills preferred.
