We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at North American Staffing Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical staff activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and oversee staff to provide quality patient care.
- Ensure patient care staff are in compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Nurse Practice Act, TJC, NCQA, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Evaluate care and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee department daily staffing requirements.
- Orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
- Provide leadership in clinical problem-solving by maintaining clinical skill and knowledge necessary to set standards and work in clinical areas of nursing.
- Ensure a thorough orientation plan for new staff members and orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
- Evaluate and schedule inservices/training necessary to keep staff current.
- Ensure department activities and records are in adherence to all licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures and applicable standards and regulations.
- Function as Patient Advocate, ensuring that patient concerns are resolved or addressed expeditiously.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other healthcare providers in establishing, implementing, and maintaining patient care and quality service standards to meet members' and internal clients' expectations.
- Provide input to budgets and monitor financial performance and identify and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Minimum one year experience required.
- Bilingual preferred.
