Job Summary

The Stationary Engineer is a critical role within our organization, responsible for maintaining, operating, and monitoring all utilities and related central plant equipment. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate power plant equipment to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Perform building rounds and equipment inspections to identify potential issues
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain Energy Management Systems to optimize building temperature comfort levels
  • Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Document all activities and maintenance in a thorough and accurate manner
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with water treatment for heating and cooling systems
  • OSHA Basic and NFPA70E certifications
  • Basic math skills and ability to multitask
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Operating Engineering
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and wind. The successful candidate will be able to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and will be required to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
