Sheltered Workshop Supervisor Job Summary

MERS Goodwill is seeking a skilled Sheltered Workshop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our sheltered workshop. The ideal candidate will have experience in social services and supervisory roles, with a strong ability to motivate and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the production process to ensure efficient workflow and maximum utilization of participant abilities.
  • Assign participants to workshop tasks based on their skills and interests, provide training, and supervise their work.
  • Maintain production records, including contracts, participant progress, and financial data.
  • Collaborate with the Case Manager to track participant progress and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Provide a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • High school degree; associate or bachelor's degree in human services preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in social services or supervising production.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and work well with others.
  • CPR, First Aid, and other required training.
