Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist II to become an integral part of our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality respiratory care and fostering meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Incentives

Eligible candidates may receive a welcoming bonus of up to $20,000 at select locations, along with potential relocation assistance of up to $7,500.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for patients and their families by incorporating education into the comprehensive care plan.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks according to patient needs and varying levels of acuity, ensuring timely execution of care interventions and medical orders.
  • Administer and evaluate medication therapies, facilitate patient transfers, and coordinate transport services.
  • Assess patient needs and provide routine respiratory care, including arterial blood gases and bronchial hygiene therapy, while also delivering advanced care in critical situations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Respiratory Care, complying with state regulations and standards.
  • Focus on Critical Care: Manage ventilators, respond to emergency situations, ensure airway management, and interpret blood gas analysis results, applying relevant protocols for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state is required.
