Position: Wire Manufacturing Technician

Location: USA | Canaan, Connecticut

Compensation: $36.68 per hour

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this role include overseeing the flow of materials/products into and out of the department and operating machinery to produce granular calcium metal, calcium wire, and finished wire products that meet all specifications to satisfy customer requirements.

Responsibilities

This position is classified as safety-sensitive and will be subject to random drug testing as mandated.

Shift Requirements: The Wire Manufacturing Technician will be expected to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts based on customer demand and production requirements.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Proficiency in speaking and reading English, mathematical skills, familiarity with computer systems, and mechanical aptitude are essential.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Work Hours: Must be able to work the required shifts and hours necessary to fulfill job duties, including overtime, holidays, and weekends, as needed.

Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this role, employees may be exposed to dust, loud noise, outdoor weather conditions, and hazardous materials, and may work at heights. Employees may work independently or as part of a team in close proximity to others and equipment.
