Esophageal Disease Specialist Lead

Ochsner Health seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible GASTROENTEROLOGIST to lead our esophageal disease program. Our integrated healthcare system spans over 36,000 employees and 4,600 physicians across multiple specialties.
About the Role- Focus on esophageal disease without general GI clinics, unless desired.
- Lead the GI aspect of a multidisciplinary esophageal swallowing disorders program with specialists from foregut surgery, thoracic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, and speech pathology.
- Oversee an existing esophageal motility lab offering leading-edge diagnostics, including high-resolution manometry, EndoFlip, BRAVO pH testing, and impedance testing.
- Support development of related programs in Barrett's esophagus and endobariatrics.
