We are seeking a skilled Dietitian / Nutrition Specialist to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality nutritional services to our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional nutritional services to patients, including assessing and evaluating their nutritional status, determining dietary needs, and advising physicians and nursing personnel.
  • Conferring with patients' physicians to establish dietary treatments and requirements, and preparing and calculating therapeutic diets to meet specific patient needs.
  • Providing guidance and assistance to patients and family members to help them understand and follow dietary modifications, and instructing them on dietary restrictions and drug-nutrient interactions.
  • Observing patients' responses to dietary treatment, noting changes in their condition, and advising physicians and nurse supervisors.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of patients' files and documentation, and adhering to the highest standards of professional conduct.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Nutrition, or the equivalent.
  • Current Registered Dietitian licensure/certification in the state(s) of practice.
  • A minimum of six months related experience.
