As a Senior Tax Accountant at KeepingCount, you will play a crucial role in serving clients across multiple industries through our Tax Services. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements for tax return purposes, gathering and analyzing data required for tax return preparation, and researching, analyzing data, preparing documents, and reconciling financial information. You will also prepare and file various types of business and personal US tax returns accurately and on time, compile written responses to IRS notices and other inquiries, coordinate workflows within departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax-related tasks, and communicate financial and tax-related information to key stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you will need 3-5 years of relevant experience in managing and organizing accounting and tax data, utilizing technology to improve efficiencies in tax processes, coordinating tax filings across various jurisdictions and industries, communicating tax and financial insights to internal and external stakeholders, handling multiple priorities and meeting competing deadlines. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex tax concepts simply, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with tax-related tools and platforms, skilled at email management using Microsoft Outlook, and adept at communicating remotely via phone, teleconference, or email. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is required, and candidates with an Associate's degree in finance and extensive relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. Benefits include a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, opportunities for internal promotion, and a fully remote role with a flexible work schedule.
