The Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) seeks a detail-oriented Laborer to assist with stevedoring operations on a mid-stream stevedoring rig in Waggaman, LA. As a key team member, you will be responsible for maintaining the rig's cleanliness, ensuring equipment readiness, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve safe and efficient operations. With a strong focus on safety and productivity, this role requires flexibility, effective communication, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.

A successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have experience in manual labor, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. They will also need to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and Company human performance exam (physical ability test). In addition to a competitive salary range of $50,000-$70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, the successful candidate can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/Rx, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, 401(k) with matching contributions, life insurance, disability, workers' compensation, and more. Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload cargo on barges and vessels
* Clean and maintain the rig, including painting and general upkeep
* Ensure equipment readiness, including cranes, barges, and mobile equipment
* Collaborate with contractors and rig hands in stevedoring operations
* Assist mechanics, welders, or other personnel as directed for task completion in stevedoring operations
* Complete electronic reports and forms accurately and timely

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Experience in manual labor, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing
* Familiarity with drafting barges and winch operations, securing of barges, and proper rigging
* Commitment to safety policies and procedures
