Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Avionics Installer to join our team in Bridgewater, Virginia. As an Aircraft Avionics Installer at Aerotek, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic systems on aircraft.

About the Role

This is a fully on-site position in an MRO repair station environment where you will work on heavy maintenance and modification projects. You will be required to complete work in a designated time frame based on production schedules and work cards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install avionics equipment per engineering drawings while following wiring standards
  • Perform operational/functional checks on aircraft electrical systems and equipment
  • Inspect, maintain, and install electronic systems, such as navigational systems, radar technology, radio communication systems, flight control tools, and other avionics systems
  • Troubleshoot and test instruments, components, and assemblies using various tools such as circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems. You should also have knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
