We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our team as peer reviewers. As a peer reviewer, you will have the opportunity to work from home or the office, on your own time, reviewing medical records, depositions, and other materials related to complaints or investigations in your specialty.
Responsibilities- Review medical records, depositions, and other materials to determine whether the care rendered met standards and whether the practitioner kept adequate medical records.
- Render an opinion on 1-11 charts regarding the quality of care provided.
- Participate in training and receive support from our team to ensure a smooth review process.
- Receive a modest fee per case after the state approves your report and after we receive payment for the work.
- Be licensed in Maryland for at least 5 years.
- Have been in clinical practice for at least 5 years post-residency, including fellowship time in your specialty.
- Have an active practice in Maryland, seeing patients for at least 8 hours per week or the majority of your practice time.
- Be free of pending actions, potential actions, or exclusions.
- Be willing to testify about your reports, if necessary.
