The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning in children aged 3-6.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and understand the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of each child
  • Prepare a beautiful and orderly environment that promotes concentration, independence, and deep learning
  • Cultivate independence and self-confidence by encouraging children to take ownership of their learning
  • Provide individual and small-group lessons to support each child's development in practical skills, literacy, math, and other areas
  • Form personal connections with each child and foster a sense of community and respect
  • Communicate and collaborate with parents to provide the best possible support for each child

Requirements

  • Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training or previous Montessori diploma for 3-6
  • Experience working with children aged 3-6 in a group setting
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori
  • Early Childhood Education or Child Development Units
  • Bachelor's Degree in any subject
