Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our Radiology Services team at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality CT scans of patients, working closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to OSHA and DHEC standards
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and scanning
  • Perform quality control checks on CT scanners and equipment
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Allied Health program preferred
  • Registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); or current RSFH teammate with a high school diploma or GED and a permanent certification in Radiography from SCRQSA
  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards and regulations
