Nurse Manager

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead our Surgical Unit team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for managing activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing units, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
- Monitor and adhere to budget, approving or monitoring expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
