Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee the maintenance of plant facilities and both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Continuously assess and enhance operational processes and systems.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to maintenance and operational teams.
  • Plan and manage capital projects, including budget oversight and training initiatives.
  • Coordinate the efforts of contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in heavy industrial environments is preferred.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on work.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial context.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Experience with CAD and blueprint interpretation is essential.
  • Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in managing capital projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to engage and lead teams through transitions.
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-through capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations is crucial.
