Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Summary:

The Automation Technician will be responsible for implementing, testing, maintaining, and repairing automation equipment in various Energy Services applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform skilled tasks including maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of automation equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose automation equipment and mechanical system failures
  • Optimize automation equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with advanced pump and automation theory and maintenance
  • Comply with company and customer safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Complete appropriate paperwork as directed
  • Perform duties as trainer when required
  • Continually develop electronic and computer skills
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3-5 years of Instrumentation experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Vocational training is preferred
Physical Demands:

The Automation Technician will be required to stand, see, talk, and hear regularly. They will also be required to walk and use their hands to use, handle, and control equipment. Occasionally, they may be required to reach, climb, and balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with appropriate assistance.

Work Environment:

The Automation Technician will work in a field-based position and may be exposed to various outside weather conditions. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to loud for extended periods of time.
