We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Chula Vista, CA. As a member of our Stepdown Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from strokes, cardiac issues, and other critical conditions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with cardiac rhythm interpretation, managing cardiac drips, and providing respiratory support. You will also have the opportunity to rotate between two levels of care: step-down and med/surg/tele.

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients
- Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms and drips
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Rotate between step-down and med/surg/tele units
- Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current California RN license
- At least one year of recent RN experience, preferably in an inpatient setting
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
Scripps Health offers a competitive salary range of $57-$81 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
