About the Position:
The Town of Snowmass Village is seeking a highly skilled and certified lifeguard to join our Parks, Recreation and Trails team. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool patrons and responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform lifeguard duties, including observing patron activities, enforcing rules, and providing first aid as needed.
- Monitor water activities to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform scheduled upkeep and maintenance of the pool facility.
- Participate in the maintenance of daily records relating to accidents, rescues, and water temperature.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patron complaints in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Certification in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR.
- Knowledge of aquatics facilities rules and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
