About the Position:

The Town of Snowmass Village is seeking a highly skilled and certified lifeguard to join our Parks, Recreation and Trails team. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool patrons and responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform lifeguard duties, including observing patron activities, enforcing rules, and providing first aid as needed.
  • Monitor water activities to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform scheduled upkeep and maintenance of the pool facility.
  • Participate in the maintenance of daily records relating to accidents, rescues, and water temperature.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to patron complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Certification in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR.
  • Knowledge of aquatics facilities rules and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
