Job Description

Pries Enterprises Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is a swing shift of 2 on, 2 off, and every other weekend. Pay Range varies from $23-35/Hr depending on experience and shift.

  • 6pm-6am

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or (GED); or minimum one-year related experience working in an industrial maintenance department.
  • Hydraulic knowledge
  • PLC Experience
  • Motor experience preferred
  • Electrical Experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely perform preventative maintenance and repairs to achieve company goals and meet customer needs.
  • Work well with others to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
  • Be detail oriented, accept additional responsibility, and use good judgement when making decisions.
  • Be able to multi task and prioritize tasks.
  • Be reliable and motivated to solve problems daily with a positive attitude.
  • Communicate both written and verbally on equipment needs and assessments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing equipment in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
  • Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
  • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment as needed.
  • Complete PMs and work order repairs accurately and on time.
  • Input thorough data into the CMMS system to track down time and inventory needs.
  • Complete improvement projects as assigned to improve efficiency and limit production down time.
  • Be able to Lead a project or team with demonstrated Leadership ability.
  • Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices, and procedures within the department.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
