Position Summary: As an Independent Optometrist, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being in Walmart stores. You will have the autonomy to establish your days of practice, hours of operation, patient schedule, and fee schedule. You will keep 100% of exam/professional fees and have the option to opt into equipment/instrumentation, administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services for a fair market value. To be eligible for this lease agreement, you must have a Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school and a valid state optometry license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish your days of practice and hours of operation
  • Control your patient schedule
  • Set your fee schedule
  • Keep 100% of exam/professional fees
  • Opt into equipment/instrumentation and/or administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services for a fair market value

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
