Dental Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Care Alliance. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Assist patients with dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, and preparing them for procedures.
- Provide information to patients and staff by answering questions and requests.
- Prepare and deliver instruments to treatment areas, position instruments for dentists, and suction as needed.
- Provide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in patients' mouths.
- Expose and develop radiographic studies, pour, trim, and polish study casts.
- Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
- Help dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
- Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
- Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protect patients and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- 2 years of experience working as a Dental Assistant or training from a formal Dental Assistant program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift equipment as needed.
