Firefighter Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter to join our team at the City of Neenah, WI. As a Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical assistance, and conducting fire prevention and education activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance as needed
  • Conduct fire prevention and education activities in the community
  • Participate in regular training exercises to maintain and improve skills
  • Work collaboratively with other emergency responders to ensure effective response to emergencies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in fire science or related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Firefighter I and II certifications
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
