Job Title: Biomedical EngineerJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our team at Brainlab, Inc. as a Clinical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to physicians and operating room personnel in the use of our surgery products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site clinical evaluations to demonstrate the use of our products and services
  • Provide consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and operating room personnel
  • Lead installations and establish functionality at new and existing customer sites
  • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on the use of our surgery products and services
  • Contribute to the quality improvement process by recommending product modifications
  • Act as primary customer liaison and maintain regular contact with customers
  • Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments regarding Brainlab and competitive surgery products and services
  • Attend surgery continuing education annually and maintain annual product knowledge
Requirements
  • B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years minimum of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider
  • 1-2 years minimum customer service experience
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • Proficient in the use of PC software applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions
