We are seeking a skilled Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team at Steve Padgetts Honda of Lake Murray. This position is ideal for an organized individual with a background in automotive bookkeeping.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties of this role include:
- Data Management: Entering and reviewing invoices, vouchers, and payment requests.
- Account Reconciliation: Resolving discrepancies related to accounts and balancing financial statements.
- Accounts Payable Processing: Handling invoices and payment requests, as well as issuing reimbursement checks.
- Vendor Relations: Researching and resolving payables issues with vendors.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing accounts for payments and verifying data accuracy in the system.
- Filing and Documentation: Maintaining organized records and assisting with cashier duties as needed.
- Daily Financial Operations: Managing daily deposits and posting accounts payable/receivable.
- Billing Management: Processing billing for deals, swaps, and wholesales.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- The ability to manage a high volume of accounts efficiently.
- A proactive attitude and the capability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Authorization to work in the USA and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
