About the Opportunity

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is a world-renowned academic health center dedicated to advancing medical research and education. We are seeking a Senior Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a department supervisor, where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare.

Responsibilities and Expectations

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as a model for customer service and assisting frontline staff when necessary.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and developing staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitoring timekeeping and attendance, approving employee leave, and auditing time reports.
  • Collaborating with key partners to improve efficiencies within the department.

As a department supervisor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and contribute to the success of our team. With a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year, you will be well-compensated for your expertise and dedication.

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a lead/charge respiratory therapist or supervisor.
  • Valid Oregon Respiratory Therapist License.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
