Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trainee Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in various regions across Western Australia. As a Trainee Psychiatrist, you will work under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide assessment and management for clients requiring specialist psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage clients with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Commitment to a rural post in psychiatry
  • Good interpersonal skills and high-level communication skills
  • Current RANZCP trainee or on approved Break in Training
