Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at Nitelines USA, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to perform a variety of imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all procedures in sub-specialized radiology areas, including evaluation of indication, protocol, triaging, and previewing for exam quality at completion of exam.
Provide procedural support, including prepping/draping patients, scrubbing in as a first assist, circulating in the IR/OR suite, gathering supplies, starting up and shutting down equipment, filming, and coordinating to support other on-call technologists as requested.
Support Vascular Surgery procedures and provide patient care that is appropriate to the cognitive, emotional, and chronological maturation needs of the adult and/or geriatric patient population.
Position patients within the examining unit, monitor the patient during all phases of the examination, and make multiple simultaneous settings and adjustments in operation of equipment to insure accurate results.
Determine necessary sub-specialized imaging procedures to yield definitive diagnostic findings and maintain adequate supplies to prevent delays in examinations.
Explain examinations to be performed to patients, gather related information, and distribute sub-specialized examinations and related information to the radiologist responsible for interpretation.
Assist quality assurance technologists in performing quality assurance testing on the unit and maintain records of quality assurance testing for easy reference.
Perform or supervise routine housekeeping duties to ensure the sub-specialty section area is clean and sanitary.
Select the most pertinent images and electronically transmit them through the hospital and radiology network to the PACS system for image viewing distribution and permanent archive.
Continuously evaluate image quality on the computer viewing station and be aware of and practice the safety policies/procedures of the medical center.
Schedule and coordinate patients for various sub-specialized procedures according to room and time availability and maintain records of patients treated, examinations performed, and any medical notations.

Requirements:

Certificate of Completion of Technologist training program
5 years of relevant clinical experience
Minimum of 1 year of general radiology experience in their respective sub-specialties in a level I hospital setting
Proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
Current ARRT
Current CEUs
Current BLS, ACLS, or CPR
