**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral fellow to join our team in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a prestigious project focused on statistical cancer genomics, leveraging the InterMEL study, an international consortium effort that has generated a large primary melanoma tissue resource and multi-modal tumor-profiling data.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and apply advanced statistical methodologies to analyze large-scale genomic and epigenomic data
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of investigators to understand cancer biology and disease progression
  • Work closely with Drs. Ronglai Shen and Colin Begg to design and implement statistical analyses
  • Contribute to the development of research papers and presentations

**Requirements**

  • PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or a related field
  • Solid methodological training in statistics, with experience working with large data sets
  • Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (R, Matlab, or Python)
  • Experience working on Unix/Linux systems and basic shell scripting
