Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at TrekRecruit LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical equipment, including PLCs, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and planners to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Utilize CMMS to track and manage maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out, Arc-Flash, and confined space entry procedures.
  • Work effectively in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision, to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent education and training.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as PLC programming.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs, and work in a variety of environments, including wet, humid, cold, and hot conditions.
