**Warehouse Laborer Job Summary**

This position is responsible for maintaining order on the shipping and receiving dock area. The person in this position is responsible for inspecting, labeling, and processing product. The person occupying this position is responsible for checking product and either cleaning for shipment or covering for storage.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist Material Handlers by running and staging pallets
  • Prepare product for placement in storage (cap and wrap)
  • Complete 'Extra Charge Sheets' on inbound and outbound orders
  • Inspect received product to ensure they are damage-free
  • Label case product accordingly for direct-to-client shipments
  • Assist inventory control as needed
  • Aid the janitorial team as directed
  • Organize warehouse areas to maximize product storage

**Requirements**

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • High School Diploma

**Physical and/or Travel Requirements**

  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and turning in cold conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time
