About the Role

Empyreal Logistics is looking for a skilled and reliable Armored Van Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting valuable assets across Northern California and occasionally to other states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Empyreal Logistics as a professional transportation and customer service expert, maintaining a positive image of the company.

  • Safely operate armored vehicles in a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions, prioritizing the security and well-being of yourself and others.

  • Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin between vehicles and client locations, adhering to strict security protocols.

  • Loading and unloading ATM machines is also part of your responsibilities.

  • Utilize handheld devices to track shipments and determine vehicle routes, ensuring efficient and secure logistics operations.

  • Maintain open communication with designated company representatives, reporting any delays, customer service issues, or incidents in a timely manner.

  • Complete documentation and updates into handheld electronic devices, maintaining accurate records of your activities.

  • Perform regular vehicle safety inspections before and after each trip.

  • Keep vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean and operational condition, adhering to Empyreal Logistics' high standards.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

  • Prior experience in a similar role, such as a delivery driver, route driver, or truck driver, is preferred.

  • Familiarity with navigation tools like GPS, smartphone apps, and web-based maps is essential.

  • The ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and hand-held devices is necessary.

  • Candidates should be able to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.

  • Honesty and integrity are crucial for this position.

Salary and Benefits
