Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Woodlands Village. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for performing all phases of the store's front-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including cash handling, bank reconciliations, and inventory management.
  • Process cash register transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and refunds.
  • Assist with daily banking procedures, including ordering cash and change, and maintaining the store's safe balance.
  • Monitor and reconcile sales receipts, including preparation and verification of bank deposits, change orders, and cash variation reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
