Position Overview

Job Summary

The role of a respiratory therapist is crucial in delivering comprehensive respiratory care services. This position involves working closely with physicians to ensure effective treatment for individuals experiencing respiratory challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess and manage patients with respiratory conditions.
  2. Adjust and calibrate BiPAP and CPAP devices according to medical directives.
  3. Ensure proper fitting of masks for patients and address any fitting issues with existing equipment.
  4. Conduct inspections on BiPAP and CPAP devices reported as malfunctioning.
  5. Perform quarterly evaluations of all respiratory equipment.
  6. Facilitate repair services for respiratory devices as necessary.
  7. Deliver training sessions for medical staff on the operation and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
  8. Educate patients on the use and benefits of respiratory machinery.
  9. Provide informative materials to assist staff in educating patients as needed.

Service Availability

Efforts will be made to provide services during standard business hours, although occasional after-hours support may be required in exceptional circumstances.

Professional Standards

All services must be performed by qualified professionals who possess the necessary education, training, and experience in line with industry standards.
