Position Summary:

The IICAPS Clinician is responsible for supporting children with significant psychiatric conditions and behaviors within their home environment by delivering intensive clinical and case management services. This role includes acting as the team leader in the provision of home-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home-based assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for children and their families.
  • Coordinate team services to ensure adherence to the treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate client records.
  • Manage and monitor insurance authorizations.
  • Act as a liaison with external agencies and referral services.
  • Supervise and mentor interns and supervisees as required.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend on-call support.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultures and language needs.
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline is required.
  • Associate license is mandatory.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
  • Understanding of child development and psychiatric disorders.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Experience in therapeutic practices with children and families in community or home settings.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands effectively.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Note: The sign-on bonus will be distributed through payroll in two installments: $3,750 after 30 days of employment and $3,750 after the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
