Candidates are expected to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room, particularly in a Level III Trauma Center. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS
Preferred Certifications: CPI, TNCC
Skills Needed: Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, IV therapy/phlebotomy, and triage. Experience with continuous IV sedation, CVA, ICP monitoring, and ortho-trauma is also essential.
Charting System: EMR experience is necessary, though training on Meditech Expanse will be provided during orientation. Candidates must pass a cardiac exam during orientation.
Facility Highlights: Short-Term Acute Care facility, Level III Trauma Center with a total of 606 staffed beds. Scrub color is navy.
Holiday Policy: One holiday RTO request is allowed during the contract period from a specified holiday list. Travelers may request up to three consecutive days off surrounding the holiday, but cannot include more than one holiday.
