Speech Language Pathology Assistant - Support Role
Nyman Associates is a leading provider of educational support services. We are seeking compassionate, self-directed, and organized individuals to support students with speech, language, and communication needs in our school settings.

Our Clinical Support and Leadership are strong. Our Teams are highly collaborative, and assessment and therapy materials are provided

Position Summary: As a school speech-language pathology assistant, you will work with students with communication disorders or difficulties, providing therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP to help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement individualized treatment plans and support students in reaching their educational goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Treatment of communication disorders with evidence-based best practices
  • Data collection
  • Therapy materials preparation
  • Consultation and collaboration with other related service providers, teachers, and school team members
  • Other duties as assigned by supervising SLP
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited university with a B.A. or B.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA (Preferred) 30 completed credit hours in the program required
  • ASHA SLPA certification (Preferred)
  • State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License if applicable
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
