Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide patient care according to established standards of care.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments and update care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement care plans.
  • Manage patient pain effectively and educate patients and families on pain management techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification and ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum six months' experience in a Medical/Surgical setting, preferably in an acute care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
