Job Summary

As a Clinical Office Assistant at Deaconess, you will play a vital role in providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems. You will work under the supervision of a physician and utilize established principles and ethical standards to provide care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general patient care and assistance with procedures
  • Document activities and provide patient/family education
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual with a graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current certification/license from one of the following is required: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant. CPR provider certification is also required.
