Relief Staff

At Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Staff to join our team. As a Relief Staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.

The Relief Staff will work closely with our Circle of Healing Team to provide for the needs of children in care. This includes developing and maintaining cottage routines, providing oversight and care to children, and performing transportation duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a passion for serving children and families.

• Collaborate with the Circle of Healing Team to provide for the needs of children in care
• Develop and maintain cottage routines to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
• Provide oversight and care to children in the cottage, including meal preparation and transportation duties
• Utilize passion and creativity to help children find their dreams and develop life skills
• Represent a family-centered philosophy and foster positive relationships with children and adults
• Support Connie Maxwell goals and work towards achieving the "Gold Star" list

• High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
• Experience working with children in a church, school, or related setting required; Experience in the childcare field preferred
• Basic knowledge of home management skills required
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing work conditions
• Valid driver's license and insurable by CMCM auto insurance carrier

• Christian character expressed in a commitment to serve as a positive role model
• Energetic and enthusiastic in work, with a sense of mission and passion in serving children and families
• Ability to improve the quality of work and ministry through Communication, Collaboration, Continuity, and Cooperation with others

• Weekend schedule of Friday - Monday morning, with occasional coverage for staff vacations and leave
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
