Nuclear Medicine Specialist

Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating nuclear medicine equipment, and producing diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine scanning procedures as outlined in the procedure manual
  • Operate nuclear medicine scanners and ancillary equipment with competence
  • Monitor and record radioactive materials for leakage or damage
  • Maintain and document records as required by NRC and DEP
  • Prepare radioactive doses and materials for patient administration
  • Maintain quality control procedures on equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field
  • Training and experience in radiation safety and protection
  • ARRT certification or NMTCB certification
