Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating nuclear medicine equipment, and producing diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine scanning procedures as outlined in the procedure manual
- Operate nuclear medicine scanners and ancillary equipment with competence
- Monitor and record radioactive materials for leakage or damage
- Maintain and document records as required by NRC and DEP
- Prepare radioactive doses and materials for patient administration
- Maintain quality control procedures on equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field
- Training and experience in radiation safety and protection
- ARRT certification or NMTCB certification
