Job Description
As a Neurology Nursing Resident at OU Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients suffering from neurological disorders. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, think critically, and make sound judgments under pressure. You must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members, both verbally and in writing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program required;
- Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required;
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire;
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required if caring for Step Down patients;
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors;
Estimated Salary Range: $68,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
