Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns in public areas or guest rooms.
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as needed.
  • Remove items from hallways and transport them to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash.
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
Preferred Qualifications
  • No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
