About the Role
Halifax Health is seeking a skilled Operating Room Technician to join our team at the Twin Lakes Surgery Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate levels of pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment are maintained in the OR area.
- Transport patients to and from the surgical suite, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Aid in positioning and prepping patients for various surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
- Contribute to maintaining OR area cleanliness and restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist with cleaning of surgical suites when required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Critical Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, SPD or OR experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
