We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Shady Grove Reproductive Sci Center, P.C. in Fairfax, VA. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to identify patient care needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as directed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide education to patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- 2-3 years of clinical experience in an Operating Room or PACU setting.
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
