Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly worker to join our field construction division, working as part of a team to perform field assembly of our homes. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with rigging and working around heavy loads, as well as a proven track record in construction or carpentry.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to perform field assembly of our homes.
  • Perform structural connections.
  • Work with light gauge steel frames.
  • Rig and control loads in the field.
  • Work in a manner that supports the company's customer service goals.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
  • Complete tasks in an organized, methodical, and clean manner.
  • Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on a given task.
  • Follow all company policies, safety rules and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Assemble items as instructed.
  • Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually or machine-assisted.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED - Required.
  • Previous experience with rigging and working around heavy loads.
  • Previous experience in working in a crane environment.
  • Proven prior construction or carpentry experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to follow precise plans. Must know how to read drawings and translate into actual plans and work.
  • Measuring skills to take accurate, precise measurements of materials to follow shop drawings.
  • Work with a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Written and verbal communications in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
