Property Management Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Property Management Department, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of our properties. This includes performing tasks such as cleaning, painting, and making minor repairs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong attention to detail.

About the Position
This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Clean, spackle, and paint vacant units
- Perform simple repairs, leaks, lockouts, replacing light fixtures, wall plates, faucet washers, plumbing clogs, etc.
- Wash and clean windows and floors
- Polish, buff, and wax floors and hallways
- Remove trash from the interior and exterior of the building
- Maintain the grounds around Authority buildings
- Assist other employees and contractors in making building repairs

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs

Benefits
- EHA pays 100% of medical/dental/vision for employee and family members after 30 days of employment
- EHA contributes an automatic 10% to the employee retirement plan after 90 days of employment
- All employees are eligible to participate in our 457 (b) pretax and post-tax retirement plan after 90 days of employment
- EHA provides 1.5 times of your salary for basic & AD &D life Insurance after 90 days of employment ($100,000 max)
- Six (6) days of vacation at the time of hire + accrual over time
- Fifteen (15) sick days at the time of hire

Estimated Salary: $21-$27 per hour based on location and experience.
