**Job Summary**
A Transportation Construction Inspector is needed to support projects throughout the state of West Virginia. The position will primarily support a large-scale heavy highway project in the Charleston area.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Verify that all work performed is in accordance with plans and contractual specifications.
* Measure and verify quantities, dimensions, and specifications.
* Act as a liaison between the West Virginia Department of Highways (WVDOH) and the prime contractor.
**Requirements**
* 3+ years of transportation construction experience, preferably within the State of West Virginia.
* WVDOH Level II, III, or IV certification is strongly preferred. Candidates without certification but who fulfill the certification requirements may be considered.
