Compensation:
  • Starting Rate: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a consistent work pace while adhering to attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment and maintain cleanliness in the laundry area.
  • Prepare and stock cleaning supplies, ensuring the laundry room is organized.
  • Perform laundry duties, including folding linens and changing resident bedding.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize common areas and resident rooms.
Additional Duties:
  • Adapt to changes in the work environment as needed.
  • Familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures.
  • Be prepared to assist in various areas of the department as required.
Accountabilities:
  • Act on feedback to enhance performance.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding residents and staff.
  • Respect the rights of residents.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and work effectively with all individuals, especially the elderly.

Job Requirements:

Skills:
  • Ability to read and understand chemical labels and instructions.
  • Capability to follow oral and written directions.
  • Possession of or willingness to obtain First Aid Certification.
Physical Demands:
  • Maintain focus and attention for extended periods.
  • Follow instructions accurately.
  • Adapt to situations requiring precision and adherence to standards.
  • Regularly engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Possess the stamina to assist residents and respond to emergencies.
Working Conditions:
  • Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Potential exposure to wet or slippery conditions.
  • Moderate to noisy work environment.
  • Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or willing to receive the vaccination.
